To promote interests of ‘British Pakistanis’ (People of Pakistani Origin residing/working in the UK either as British and/or Pakistani citizens);

• To create an Institution yielding positive contribution to the UK generally, and (all) local communities;
• To engage proactively with the UK Institutions and the media to positively change perceptions of British Pakistani’s and Pakistan in the UK;
• To promote any charitable purpose for the benefit of the British Pakistani community anywhere in the world;
• To create a network of British Pakistani professionals in the UK;
• To help advance the goals, needs and interests of British Pakistanis;
• To facilitate communication and the sharing of resources among British Pakistanis in the UK and abroad;
• To promote high ethical principles amongst British Pakistanis based in the UK by motivating and inspiring success and creating mentors to share best practice;
• Matching professionals to career opportunities based in the UK or abroad;
• To provide a forum for members to meet to discuss legal, ethical, work related, charitable issues;
• To promote British Pakistani participation in the executive, legislative, judicial decision making processes;
• To better the position of the British Pakistani community at large by addressing issues affecting the local, national and international Pakistani Origin population;
• To educate the local, national and international community about matters affecting the British Pakistani community;


Within the limitations of the above purposes, but not further or otherwise, to promote the following main aims:

• Bring together in conference representatives of relevant organisations, government departments, statutory authorities and individuals;
• Promote and carry out or assist in promoting and carrying out research, surveys, investigations and publish the useful results thereof for the benefit of the public;
• Arrange and provide for, or join in arranging and providing for, the holding of exhibitions, meetings, lectures, classes, seminars, training courses, charitable events and dinners;
• Collect and distribute information on all matters affecting such objects and exchange such information with other bodies having similar objects whether in the UK or overseas;
• To assist in any charitable organisation which may lawfully be assisted by the Organisation financially or otherwise;
• Raise funds and invite and receive contributions from any person or persons whatsoever by way of subscriptions and otherwise;
• Lobby government departments for the purposes of carrying out a primary object of the Organisation or for a purpose which is ancillary or incidental to the carrying out of the objects;
• Cause to be written and printed or otherwise reproduced and circulated, gratuitously or otherwise, such papers, books, periodicals, pamphlets or other documents or films or recorded tapes (whether audio or visual or both) as shall further the said objects;
• If necessary, to purchase take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any property and any rights and privileges necessary for the promotion of such objects which may be necessary for the work of the Organisation;
• Accept gifts and borrow or raise money for such objects on such terms and on such security as shall be thought fit;
• Invest the money of the Organisation not immediately required for the said objects in or on such investments, securities or property as may be sought fit;
• To do such other lawful things as are necessary for the attainment of such objectives
